Every pipe is crafted entirely by me in my workshop at Liberty Arts, a sculpture arts collaborative, in Durham, NC.
Briar burl, the root burl of the white heath bush (erica arborea) which grows in the Mediterranean region, and German ebonite rod stock are my primary materials.
Occasionally, I will use exotic adornments such as boxwood, African Paduk, other hard woods, horn, bamboo, acrylic, and bakelite.
No matter the design or which adornments are used, each pipe is carefully crafted to the highest standards.
